—Introductions—
Can you tell us a little about your role and what you do here at Ai?
I’m the Lead Client Services Representative (CSR) and the Promotional Items Coordinator. My main responsibilities include project management for our customers—whether that project is print, mail, creative, promo items, etc.—helping to ensure they’re meeting the desired timelines and end-goals. I also serve as a key resource to those clients along with our CSR team, as well as being internal advocate for the customer if the production team has any questions or concerns.
How long have you worked at Ai?
In May 2025, 4 years
What’s your favorite part of your job?
I really like the people; we’ve got a great team here. I appreciate that the work is ever-changing. Almost nothing comes through the same way twice, keeping things interesting. It’s also really cool to see some of the neat work our customers are doing—the creative and innovative projects they’re putting together to accomplish goals.
I also love being part of the “Super Happy Fun Time Committee”. I like coordinating fun activities that foster team building and levity.
—Work & Professional Growth—
How has your career grown or evolved since joining the company?
I originally started as a CSR with some, but limited, print experience. I was immediately jumping into a huge opportunity to learn. After about 2 years, I started taking on the responsibilities of also managing promotional item orders. Again, I was learning, but now about more than just print. I was finding my way through exhibit displays, apparel, pens (so many pen orders!), piggy banks … all the things!
Now, not only am I representing customers by supporting their goals and projects, I’m also a representative for the CSR Team as Team Lead. I strive to support them through communication, training and implementation, and guidance. Through all of these roles, Ai has offered me several opportunities for personal growth in knowledge, project management, and leadership.
How has your career grown or evolved since joining the companyHas there been a memorable moment or event at Ai that stands out in your mind? If so, we’d love to hear what made it special!
This isn’t directly job-related, but our first game of hot potato is what comes immediately to mind.
We were just starting out with the Super Happy Fun Time Committee and our monthly “Wellness Wednesdays” events. Our first Hot Potato game was a HIT. So many people came outside—even people who just spectated! It was a beautiful summer day, and you could just tell how happy everyone was to have some play time with fresh air and sunshine. But, it was also really nice to see how competitive everyone is—which is just a testament to their work ethic, always wanting to do their best. I was also impressed on how well everyone was communicating.
It was just a really fun afternoon activity for everyone to get together. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
—Fun & Personal Insights—
What’s one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
I collect vintage film cameras. It’s a fairly new hobby so my collection is small, but I’ve always been interested in photography so this is just another extension of that. My favorite so far is a Kodak Baby Brownie that’s about the size of a Rubik’s cube!
Unrelated and less known, I’m also afraid of sting rays.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
I’m very a much a bookworm and even help coordinate our Ai Book Club. I’m happy curled up with my animals and a good book. But when the weather gets nice, you can either find me out for a walk or at local craft fairs and food festivals.
—Team & Culture—
What do you enjoy most about working with your team?
I am always impressed by how knowledgeable our staff is. Anyone can make a copy on their home printer, but not everyone can work the magic our team does every day on such complex projects at the drop of a hat. I also appreciate that there is a great sense of camaraderie throughout the team—a spirit of friendship, trust, and mutual support. It’s the sense of solidarity and shared bond that creates a positive, collaborative atmosphere
If you could describe the company culture in three words, what would they be?
Collaborative, supportive, and innovative.
What qualities or mindset do you aim to bring to your team and work each day?
I aim to bring proactiveness, empathy, conscientiousness, adaptability, and levity to my team each day. Proactivity helps us anticipate client needs, while empathy fosters strong relationships and clear communication. Conscientiousness ensures attention to detail, delivering high-quality service and meeting client expectations. Adaptability keeps us agile in a fast-paced industry, and levity helps maintain a positive, lighthearted atmosphere.
